I'm hoping for the best- maybe you'll get some 65's out of the lot. I went through about 75 Morgans today and found 3 or 4 with nice amber toning around their rims. Those are definitely going with the next batch.

There better be some 65's, I'm hoping for two. Don't know if I've stated that already. The '80-CC has moved into QC meaning it's graded. That one was early bird tier and the others were econ, so... probably two more weeks for grades on the bulk of the submission. Thought the '80 was a 63 shot 4 coin, so we will see probably by EOD Monday. Here's the GTG on the '80. https://goccf.com/t/158079&SearchTerms=1880

A bit disappointing. No 65s. The 80 went 63, then 1 64+, 5 64's, 2 63's, 1 62. I'll probably keep the + and dump the rest.

I have always liked GSA's and I have submitted several over the years. On a positive note, the 64+ is awesome, it is tough to get a +. Some nice coins!

Will you be posting individual grades to each of the "guess the grade" threads you made for these Morgans?

A little complaining always does wonders; my package has arrived and been sorted locally, meaning I should get it tomorrow or Thursday at the latest, if I have to go pick it up.
EDIT: Ahhh, just missed the package, mailman must be somebody different today, he came way, way early. The norm is like, 3pm...

Quote: Maybe enough walk around $ to pick up a 65 or two../ It would be but I'd rather reinvest it in lower-priced GSA's and try to get more 4's and 5's cheap. I paid no more than $190 for any of those coins.

It is always amazing to me that there are still lots of high grade and DMPL GSA's out there that are ungraded. I always look at them and scope out nice coins.

Quote: It is always amazing to me that there are still lots of high grade and DMPL GSA's out there that are ungraded. I always look at them and scope out nice coins. Tougher to find than you'd think. Most of the ones that look possibly DMPL that I get in hand are really just PL. NGC is a touch lax on DMPL vs PL whereas PCGS is much tougher. Quote: eBay? Ehh, a couple. Most were sourced locally, I run ads in CL and in other areas offering to buy GSA Morgans in quantity at pretty much any price, and most of the local dealers know me and offer me theirs. The 64+ (Ugh, that really should be a 5) was offered to me by my favorite dealer, paid $180 for that and another one which I flipped for $250 on ebay. Those ten were picked out from probably 40-50 ungraded GSA's I purchased. Including the dealers inventories I picked through, you're probably talking 150+ coins.
