Yes, in our idiocracy, remembering you have three quarters and two one dollar coins is soooo difficult to remember.

I am not buying it. Like anything else, the more you do it, the more automatic it becomes. I do not even think about it, I just know what I have available. Even if one does not remember the exact coins in their pocket, doing it right means having less than a palm of change, which is easy to scan for what can be used. It is not rocket science, it is not even elementary science, it is basic math.
