This was my 1st thread I started & am wondering what category I should have put this in? I am into information sharing & just wanted to get this info out. As a side note, I expect these to be produced in proof, much like the 1.5 oz silver polar bear had a bullion coin & now a proof. If anyone wants to move this thread to a more appropriate category, please have at it-at least I have made some people aware of this issue. Thanks all!

I think we can all take our time on this one. It's not a have to getright now especially with a 1 million mintage.

I love this coin, at $27 to $28 dollars each they are pretty cool. The mix between a stacking coin and sort of numastic is perfect. I'll be ordering several from the bull.

We should have these in hand within about 2 weeks. Pre-orders are now being accepted.

Well, I have to eat my words & just pre-ordered from Modern Coin Mart, they expect to start shipping on 11/26 & you can order individually, the tube of 25 or a Monster box. Happy Remembrance Day/Veterans Day to all!

I was surprised to see this bullion piece and hadn't expected the RCM to produced one given all the other high priced 25th anniversary stuff out there. Guess it doesn't hurt to check in with your local dealer once in awhile. I'll probably pick up one to go along with the fractional set and 1oz gp anniversary piece.

The (minor) problem with ordering from an on-line retailer is you find yourself trying to make the best of shipping charges. I ordered a couple of the 25th year maples but because I was commited to paying shipping fees I continued to shop, There goes another $60 plus dollars, I bought a couple of 2013 silver Pandas. I've always admired them but the local coin shop (now closed) were always very expensive if they ever had any in. Compared to a year ago these semi numastic coins are a great deal. Life is good, Happy dance.

I like it when the mint decides to do these types of special privy releases. Silver maples are one of the reason I started collecting in the first place.

If you guys are ordering these 25th anniversary SML, keep an eye out for the horse pivy mark reverse proof SML, they are available from APMEX and Colonial already... I know I will bundle them up in one order to save shipping cost.

Paradise Mint, on ebay, is auctioning off this coin & is currently going for $29-$31 ea slabbed by NGC as Gem Uncirculated. A step up is Modern Coin Mart's offering of this slabbed by NGC MS 69 for $39.00. Both offer free shipping to the US. I had to get both slabbed versions & hope for no milk spots. MCM also has the newly designed SML in raw for but expect to see them slabbed by NGC soon.

I got this coin from a local dealer. Beautiful coin for a bullion. As far as the price goes do people not remember the wolf coin sold as a bullion. What about all the other animals. On a percentage basis these coins have appreciated more than most NCLT. Plus the downside is much lower than any other NCLT coin. That is only if silver price were to increase.
