I like to buck the trend and don't mind being wrong. I'll say MS62 and the wear occurred in the holder.

EF45. (I don't think ICCS will grade it an AU).
I sure won't be buying that ms65 1939 dollar.

@chubbycheeks - The biggest learning point for a novice is that ALL grading is an OPINION. Nothing more - TPGs can only offer a (pseudo)consistent and recognized opinion.
Brian Cornwall himself has stated that he can give a coin 3 different grades on 3 different days, especially in mintstate, the difference can be how many cups of coffee you have had that day..

Thankfully..Brian never said that to me. If it's 62 or 63 and maybe then 64 on the next day...we now have a problem.. As many here would agree, the pics that we often see on ebay really don't give a clear view of high grade pieces. 62 ..63..or 64 or even more can easily double or triple the value of any coin and drastically affect a bid. Big buck coins have to be seen in hand or you really are gambling. These opinions/grades are really all over the board these days..and are hurting the hobby..IMHO..

If any coin has significant differences of grades between MS-62 and MS-64, then it is definitely worth a second opinion (e.g., PCGS). Eye appeal can also be a big factor in bidding prices for any mint state coin.

Looks like wireman09 and doubleeagle59 tied for closest. ICCS EF-40 Personally I see it as an EF45 as well - oddly enough this was the same batch as the 1939 Dollar that somehow pulled off MS65 - I only agreed with half the grades in that submission. Next up we have some copper for the penny-folks 1905 Large Cent

Quote: Brian Comwell himself has stated that he can give a coin 3 different grades on 3 different days, especially in mintstate, the difference can be how many cups of coffee you have had that day. This statement makes me very nervous.
