Working on Nova Scotia today as part of my ongoing auction prep project. These 1813 Trade & Navigation pennies produced by Thomas Halliday are all Breton 962. My tentative assignments of Charlton and Withers numbers are shown in the image....any corrections or confirmation would be greatly appreciated, as would your thoughts on condition..
Edges are all engrailed and die turn ( ) is the same across all of these, so unless I'm mistaken -- always a good possibility -- without the rarer fourth variety (NS-20A2) I'm pretty sure I don't have to look at any other diagnostics to distinguish these from one another.

This one finally arrived from a recent Stack's auction. Lower Canada Commercial Change - Large Bust LC-59A, Br 1007, R8 PCGS AU50 but I believe over graded s/b EF40.  |
