Obverse looks a bit stronger and close to AU but the reverse appears VF+. I'd guess XF40 or 45 overall.

All right you much more experienced folks out there need to give me a lesson here and explain why this thing is 30/40? I'm looking at an AU 53/55 obverse. Are the wheat stalks and ears so worn on this that it knocks it down that far?

The obverse wear around the ear cheek and beard is a little much to put in the AU catagory. I would put it at 45. The stalks overall are showing a good amount of wear particularly the right stalk. I had the reverse at 40. The surfaces on both sides are not clean enough to warrent an overall 45. Thus my grade of 40. I'm looking for some luster to push a Lincoln into the AU range and I'm not seeing any signs of it remaining
