I recently had my wife pick up some plastic sleeves to keep my bank notes crisp and wrinkle free. I was disappointed to see that these sleeves are open at the top and do not seal. How do they keep moisture out and how do they get mounted into a binder? Did I get the wrong type? Are there bank note holders that DO seal and are safer for the bill? I have quite a few in AU shape and hope to keep them that way forever!
Thanks a lot for the replies guys! I guess I'll try the sealer. They are mostly in numerical order and I'd like a way to display them. I have them in a binder at this time and I've been using zip lock bags to keep them moistue free. I found I can seal them then staple the one side to the page so they can still be opened if need be. Maybe I should stay with that idea though the bags are not as thick as the actual bill sleeves commecially available!
