I did a fair amount of research on loupes a couple years ago and settled on a Belomo 10X

They're made in Belarus, formerly part of the USSR. Apparently the plant where they are made used to make optics for their military.

I love mine.

Baush & Lomb Hastings Triplet, 10X. I have had mine for 35 years, it works out to a $1/year. Don't skimp, your eyes will thank you.
