NumisRob, ouch! I saw the mintage number for those, and it's by no means "rare" as the stupid sellers say they are.
Errers and Varietys.

Quote: What' the story on the "New Pence" and why do so many listing ask for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. All UK decimal coins up to 1981 had 'New Pence' on the reverse. This changed to the denomination in pence from 1982. However, a handful of mule 2p coins have been found bearing the 'New Pence' reverse but dated 1983. This has led some people to think that any of the 'New' coins are valuable, whereas in fact most have enormous mintages.

Both of those dollars are really bad, but the Trade dollar is also huge and a really bad fake.
