The photo of the coin envelope is better than the coin, so I wonder if he's really selling the envelope and the coin is merely part of the illustration ?

I remember hearing these old large cents were once used as key fobs. This one had a rough life, for sure!

There's nothing particularly wrong with this very worn coin though I would grade it as G06 details.

I think $30 is a reasonable price.

It was a try, but not quite awful enough .
I haven't seen anything as bad as this recently.

That's from page 2...I didn't link it, but I think they wanted ~$20 for it.
