Paging planet crazy... Let's see...

One photo (don't coins have at least two sides)
The slab takes up only about 10% of the photo's area
The coin takes up only about 5% of the photo's area
It's an ACG PF69, so real world MAYBE PF67
He wants $450 (OBO)
PCGS price guide for PF69 is $900 and $65 for PF67 (NGC is 825 and 90)
So it's worth, what, maybe $60-70?

Very funny. Looks like a MS66 tops. And anyway, maybe someone can calculate the precise percentages?

I don't mean to sound harsh, but at least those aren't coins getting damaged... still, though. People can be so ignorant.

I know no one has posted here for almost a month, but this ought to bump the thread up.

yup- apart from getting left on the sidewalk and circulating for a while, that's totally AU.

Maybe more like 'atrociously ugly'.

I was just wondering- do you guys think the people that post these coins on ebay ever see this thread?

Ouch Numisma - defn of AU hit the nail on the head.

No I actually don't think the people who post the coins on ebay are the kind of people who come here seeking knowledge. By the time you hit even 5 posts you actually learn something or you're a complete troll. And judging by the ebay listings these people are beyond teachable.

While I'm thinking it let me update the old Mississippi riverboats saying: "if you look around the board and you don't know who the troll is, it's you"
