Apart from being a common circulating coin priced at ten times its face value, this must qualify for the worst coin photos I've ever seen on ebay!

If you're into "double stamped", I suggest this. It's a bit more pricey at $1000 but this one is double stamped on a dime!

This coin is in good condition win you trun it just right you can see the back of the dime

Prime example of idiots who are looking too hard at something. I had a guy email me back in August (thankfully just read it) saying he had a 1894 S dime and that he didn't believe in grading because it was "over rated" and if you look, the S is worn down.

Who could resist buying four rare US Quarters for £10 sterling, especially when they are accompanied by such great, clear photographs?

"MAJOR ERROR coin 1964-D Jefferson nickel With Obverse STAMPED ON FRONT!!"

Just think about THAT for a while....

Starts at $50, has a reserve, but $600 will buy it now.

There's no denying that an "E PLURIBUS UNUM" U.S. coin is rare.

I'm assuming that neither Donnie nor Janice is the seller.

I can't really say this is a bad coin, it's fairly priced for a well worn minimal error...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/232579605756/

But I just LOVE the disclaimer:

Quote:
Item description

The current coin lists as: 1852 Three Cent Silver Trime. Split planchet at date mint error. 1852 3 Cent Silver Split Planchet Error at Date. When we make a mistake, we will admit to it and fix it. John lists the coins.

Little p-a on John there?

I don't know what is worse with Jon's ebay find... the fact that someone painted a gold coin or that there are four people watching it.

Both are worrisome...
