I picked this coin up a while back and have held on to it because of how worn it is with no major damage. What do you think it would grade? Could it make P-01?

I was trying to determine for sure that it is a 1925 and not a 1935, but I think the shape of the 5 is more consistent with the 1925. I have also been trying to see if there is an S, but I haven't been able to see one with my 16x loupe.

If you can tell the date and mint mark your in luck, PO-1 for sure.
If your can't (and I can't from your pictures) then it will get a 'genuine' grade.

PO-1.

Looks to me like 1925, I can't tell what the mint mark is.

It is indeed a lovely coin ... but alas IMHO will not certify at any reputable TPG.

Alas the reverse is just too far gone to confirm the existence or lack thereof of a mm ... agreed that it is a 1925 dated Peace by the obverse photo.

I've submitted several Peace just like this to PCGS ... and all have come back as 'authenticity unverifiable' ... there needs to be a verifiable by sight date and mm ...

Unfortunately for us Peace Low-Ball fans there are many coins such as yours that are so far gone that one cannot verify the 'lack' of the reverse mm.

Worth melt ... but a tremendous coin nonetheless.

I'm a fan of AU+ coins but I can see the amazing allure of coin like this!

I also see a P-01 grade.

I, however, can't even guess at a date...

No chance at a grade without definitive identification of date and mint mark, if any. They won't slab it. So, wear indicates an easy technical P01 but this one won't qualify.
