Great finds jpl. Enjoying looking at your discoveries.!! I spent the last twelve months sorting through a large amount of copper and each find is as cool as the last.!!
A good dslr is quite helpful but the lynchpin is a good macro lens.!!

I use a Nikon D3200 coupled with a Tamron 100mm f2.8 lens.! It sits on an old enlarger stand and I use a couple of led lamps over the top.!!
I edit through a free programme (photoscape) and crop and drop down to 200mb before transferring to Photobucket and then onto this forum.
Good value for the price and will probably last me a lifetime.!!

Nice Missing #1 there robster. I am using a Fujifilm Superzoom 8Mp. Diffused Sun Light "Soft" Window Bay's. It is an excellent camera but I am Pushing it's Capabilities with It's Len's these day's now.
I am wanting a Twin LED Lamp set up this Year so my Coin Photo's White Balance & Light are Consistent.
Can you Please give me some info on the Enlarger Stand & it's Pro's and Con's? Thank's jpl..
