Coins in slabs, zero. But I do have between four and five hundred slabs in my reference collection.

I have 18 and the only reason these stay slabbed is because a few of them are MS65-66 Mercurys for my short set (in progress) and the rest are key dates purchased online or found raw and sent in by me.

Earlier, I said 3-4 but I was off. I actually have 11 slabs.
5 of the coins create an empty spot in an album. The others are additional, commemorative, or PM coins.

I have one which I bought and will not open. Has a pedigree.
Others that I sent in to ANACS I may crack or just sell. Maybe 12.
I do not like plastic.

I try not to buy coins in slabs, but have half a dozen or so. Thinking of cracking out a 1921 quarter to make a date set.

I just have on coin in a slab. It's a Silver Eagle from PCGS.
I don't really like slabs because I can't feel the coin in my hand, just the huge plastic thing.

I have dozens and dozens in slabs, but more in raw (not slabbed) by a factor of 10 probably.

Well thank God for Tim Stroud, liking his slabs! I have collected them over the years, PCGS, NGC, SEGS, ANACS, and at 53 of 'em will probably be a number that will continue to grow. I even have coins in some self-slabbed holders, so yes I guess I like them!
