I haven't seen too many people post about these.

I bought a 2003-D Missouri coin & die set from the Mint back in the day...I thought I needed one for my collection. It's locked up and I don't recall the reason why the die was retired.

A friend gave me several boxes of supplies, tokens, etc. and going through them I found a Kansas coin and die set. The certificate of authenticity was missing but the die and quarter was there.

I know these aren't as spectacular as the 1995-1996 commemorative coin dies that you can the design, but I still think they are neat.

What do you all think?

Not worth much, the dies are waffled beyond recognition. But I think they are really neat and good conversation pieces.

The Colorado die is mine, I wish the Olympic die was mine.

Thanks for sharing the photos biokemist.

When I bought my set I didn't have the expectation that it would appreciate in value.

I agree that it is a good conversation piece. It would work well as a paperweight too.
