When I logged into ebay this morning, I found Angus Coin Shop had bought all my Presale bird coins (3) at $60 a pop with $15 shipping. I was very dismayed, as I've read what bad news this seller can be! I know he's trying to elimate the competition, as he didn't pay. This was done at 5:30 am. Then I went to my personal email, and there's a request from him for an invoice and a request to pay by cheque. Next email is from ebay to both of us: warning against skirting sales by going around ebay policy. I would appreciate any advise as how to handle this? I'm worried about getting 3 negs and low ratings. I don't accept anything buy PP, and my handling time is 30 days. I put in the ad if you can't wait this long please don't buy. I plan to call ebay tonight and see if they will cancel these sales, and I immediately blocked him. Any advice is welcome. I'm trying Presale for a second to get extra money for other coins. I thought I'd give a try and see if I'd get any response.

I sell a lot of things on ebay and I recommend that you stick to your guns and only accept the payment that you already stated you accept in your listing. If that's paypal, then that's how he has to pay.

If he does give you neg feeback and you feel it's undeserved because he tried to pay differently, I believe ebay can remove that from your record. Hope that helps. Good luck!

You might find a lot of your listings getting removed as ebay made some recent changes. It looks like check and money orders can only be used for things that are picked up from a store.

Im sure some of it is them wanting to make sure they get the fee. But at the same time I'm sure there were also a lot of people accepting those methods that would never ship anything and if ebay were to reemburse the buyer it would be out of their own pocket.

I contacted ebay and they didn't like the person attempted to circumvent the system. They advised to send a message via their system, referencing the private message stating I only use PP. I did along with politely suggesting he buy directly from the mint himself. ebay had also advised to do an unpaid item in 4 days. I really don't want to sell to this person. I hope he'll do a cancel instead. I have blocked them. His reply was he didn't like I was pre selling the coins prior to official launch feb. 4, as he isn't allowed to as a coin store. So far it's been polite, on the 4th I will ask if he will agree to cancel, this will be my second reply. I can understand his point, however, he could have sent a polite message instead. There are several ads out with pics from master club release. I doubt it's practical for him to buy up everyone's stock. Of course I don't know how he thinks. I will post updates.
