@yingyang:

I impressed by collection. Yours.

but still do not understand, what the main theme, if any, in your collection?

(see, I started collect mainly the "animals", and now, due to the budget, will return mostly to that theme)

yingyang: Ok. I love that coin. I was looking for the market price of that coin in ebay (the gold-plated version). Every time it's listed it's sold.

Silveroid: The theme is: I don't care what I buy, the only I care is that I don't smoke anymore ;-)

I had a heart attack Feb. 2013, triple bypass, quit smoking,
am eating right, exercising, feel great now, more money for coins,
I got lucky. Stop smoking and have blood tested regularly,
get out and take a walk. Beautiful coins and bullion @Yingyang.
Congrats to you and your spouse for taking the right path.

Very nice set, yingyang

When I started to store mine the same way (same case and quadrums), after half an year, they covered by milk spots...

Do you store them in some specific micro- climate settings?

Yingyang, whats your opinion on $30 2006 Sled Dog coin I've been chasing it on ebay for a yr. I won one in sept for $99'CAD, however, the dealer couldn't find the coin. He was very nice he offered me a $50 credit for use in his store or ebay. I couldn't accept his generosity, things happen. I've lost the occasional coin in my hoard. I know it's there, but a couple have taken me up to two months to find; after tearing the place apart. Plus the guy was honest, saying there's a possibility of his store clerk selling it. We had several great chat even after!! It was nice to offer the store credit, it just feel right to accept it.

I've seen photos where the image looks pixelated. Your image looks very nice; I don't see any pixelation. I've always wanted to ask an owner, there true assessment of the coin? This way there's no bias, as they're not trying to sell the coin. What would you say is a fair price? I've seen prices all over the map on this coin.

I've put a twist on your collecting strategy. Instead of buying junk food, I'll buy coins this way I won't gain weight and I will have something that I can enjoy for years.

This is one of my favorite coins has beautiful colors.

Plus a Low mintage of 7,384 , I guess it was not very popular in 2006

As for the price goes you said it its all over the map.
