Ok guys, just placed my order at Gatewest. Very happy to get this!  I have various maple leafs that are bullion, even sheets, but I forget now since its been years, I had been out of collecting, have some with a privy mark. I have never owned a replica coin tho, which to me is basically a non-bullion but what do I know lol. what realllly perked my interest was the two things- 1- its reverse proof maple, which to me, is very pretty 2- I like the Berlin money fair privy, thats a pretty neat show in my opinion so to have the RCM do a tie in, to me is pretty neat, I dig that. thanks again for all my fellow Canadian collectors who pointed me in the right direction and gave their opinion of the coin, love you guys! |

Has anyone who ordered this from Gatewest received theirs yet.I ordered mine about two weeks ago and still has not been shipped?

I ordered Saturday,, haven't received anything yet in form of tracking. So after seeing your post here, I wrote them and I will report back with what they tell me.
I know its just a replica maple, with a silly privy mark, but I REALLY like the finish on it and the Berlin privy mark just makes it so unique, at least I think!

It appears there on the label and COA : "Replica", but not easy to understand : replica of what?
Are the other Privy SMLs they "replica"?
I see it as Low Mintage special Privy SML with Reverse Proof finish, and I happy with it.
By the way, the previous one, "Replica" is more unique, since I do nor remember any other non-privy Reverse Proof Silver Maple Leaf.

I had sent them an e-mail on the 14th of February and the response from them was "they were having some issues with having a healthy shipping department as of late so they have fallen behind.We hope to be back on track for Monday(Feb.17).And still nothing in the form of shipping or tracking.Will be interesting to see what they tell you.By the way I ordered mine on Feb.07

I've noticed some conversation on here about the delays in the shipping department so I thought I would try to add something to it.
We are indeed a little behind in the shipping department as we had our shipper out with an illness for two days. She is back but realistically only at about 80%. We have had some other issues as well which have caused us to have a shortage of staff. Please understand that we are trying our best to get back on track and are working hard to ship all the backed up orders now. We do have the coins in stock but just processing them in a timely fashion is the issue. We thank you for your patience and will do our best to have the orders out post haste!

yea I dont understand why they use "replica".. instead of just saying reverse proof with privy mark, etc etc... Marketing I guess?
All I do know is it caught my eye for its beauty and the WMF privy makes it interesting to me. Cant wait to get it!
