Here is one of two recently picked up raw Half Dimes for my set. What do you think?

1844-Half-Dime---Raw

Wasn't attributed on the flip, but I'm pretty sure this is the triple punched 184 variety.

Nice! XF45.

EDIT: On second thought it might be a softly struck reverse and actually AU. Either way I like it!

It looks like 1844 H10C RPD FS-301 (FS-000.063)(Valentine 3c) according to the CherryPickers' Guide.

Numerals 184 are repunched north of the first impression. In the Early Die State, an additional 18 is seen north of the final impression.

I'd give it an AU50.

The other disappointment. For the life of me I don't see any hairlines under a loupe, but PCGS said this was cleaned. The fields still shine with color under the light, but maybe they see more than I can under magnification. Disappointing as this is a really nice coin. Also gave it XF Det. I didn't pay for variety attribution, that's a waste of money. With that said, I'm still keeping this one in my set.
