To be honest I enjoyed watching the girls gold metal game then the men's.

I think North Americans want gold so bad is because they were both in the Gold game in '10, so they hold themselves to those expectations and nothing besides winning gold is accepted to them. Just a guess.

I had hoped for a tight game but wasn't. While I'm glad Canada won I would prefer to see players not tainted by the money already have a chance to play. Out of all our players only one didn't play in the NHL. That's sad since I know how political the game can be. Having said that, a lot of other teams also had NHL superstars. Nice to see both hockey golds in Canada but there were 25 medals won by Canada so congrats to all who competed and made us proud.
