Since we are talking about the 1822 CBQ, I might as well show my 2nd. example of the year. Ex Heritage.

The coin is only very slightly toned - I guess (hope) that ANACS considered this to be a natural (i.e. not cleaned) original coin (?).

Nice! Seems we have similar taste. Yes, they deemed it original. Otherwise it would be noted on the holder. I have another 1822. I try and post it also. It is raw but I believe it to be original low grade. In the G-6 to VG range.
