If it is a 1/2d it could be 1695 to 1701.
Copper suffers underground so a keep sake at best.

Actually looking at the coin and it may be me but do you see the initials MF written in several places on the coin? The reason I ask is they had different designers do test designs in 1696 for a possible transition. You may have a test piece by a designer who didn't make the cut which would be cool!
