Terrific start! For me, this is the most enjoyable set, period. I have been working on mine for about 4 years.....and though I completed it a while ago, I am still purchasing many upgrades to this day.

The empty book alone is going for north of $50 these days - I know as I've been looking for one!

Ten dollars, as in 1000 cents. It was empty though. The coins that are in it are the coins I already had. It really was a steal. I'm glad I was in the right place at the right time.

I love the look of circulated coins in a 7070 type set book. you're off to a good start, keep us updated as this set progresses.

If and when I get back into collecting, this is what I want to do-a 7070 album. I suppose I should start looking for the album? Anyone know of one for around $50?

Here is a new addition to my album. Well, I guess I shouldn't call it a new addition. I have had this for some time and didn't even know it. I was going through an album and decided to look at the back side of the coin and saw a VDB. Wow! Don't know how that one got past me. And even better I got it in a bag of early year wheat cents. I think it was a bag of 20 or so for 5 dollars.   |
