This is a 2006 series. I'm new to notes so my knowledge of condition is non existent. This bill came strait from the register of a restaurant .... So its certainly been circulated. How well it may or may not grade is beyond me... I swapped 50 from my wallet for this bill. I went strait to ebay for a search to get an idea of the notes value or lack there of. I could not find a serial # lower then this one(with a star) on ebay or any photo on the web from the 2006 series. I'm not insinuating that there is no other 50$ star from this series thats lower then this one, but I was definately surprised by the asking price of the 50 star that came closest to it because the condition was blatantly poor & folks were actively bidding on it. It was plenty more then 50$ and there was time left to bid.

I have some questions about it. 1st n foremost , Am I looking @ anything more then 50 bucks . 2) If This note's value is greater then fifty dollars, who would be most interested in acquiring it.... An ebay member or a local? 3) If there IS any potential for desirability, am I better off holding on to it for a decade to maximize monetary gain, or is the market competitive enough that I should make a move sooner than later?

I genuinely appreciate any input anyone may have to offer
Thanks
j

Most collectors would not consider that a low SN.Condition looks circulated.Maybe if it was a low run it may have a small premium.

If I read this correctly, your start note was part of a run of 512,000 notes.
