numisart Valued Member United States 57 Posts	Posted 03/29/2014 4:46 pm It is listed as "scarce" in RIC (1981), meaning that this type was less than commonly found in the material they studied. Translating that into real market value is subjective and impossible. Only a very specialized collector looking for this exact type may value this more than a common type. xodus Valued Member United States 121 Posts	Posted 03/29/2014 4:47 pm Sometimes nothing, sometimes everything :) From what I've been told, the books are so outdated that what was scarce back when they were made may mean they are still 'Scarce', have become 'rare', or have turned 'common'. I would say it is a pretty good indicator and if you are trying to sell it or keep it, I'd use the word 'scarce' because RIC and books are the current 'renowned' books of our time.
