The other option is to buy a small piece of foam or cork gasket and a 30mm & 27 mm punch.

@Solidifier,thanks very much for your generous offer ! At this point I think it may not be a bad idea. I then will be able to have a first hand look and try to find them somewhere on ebay or locally.
If you PM me I can give you my address. I would like to pay you for the capsules and postage.
Thanks again, sherwooddavid

SherwoodDavid, "So I think the H39 - 30mm foam ring for U.S. half dollar or gold maple leaf should do it." does that do the work for you? I have an extra RCM mint box and would like to use it for the $20 for $20 coins ... so just to confirm if I should order the same foam ring as you :P Thanks a lot in advance!

@magareto, Hello..I just received my H39's with 31mm ring and they fit in the 2013 O Canada box slots perfectly for the $20 for $20 coins. I will post a couple pics. The only mistake I made was that I ordered the white rings instead of the black one but it doesn't actually look that bad. lol

Hi Dominic,Yeah I'm from Nova Scotia and live in Rockingham. I'm just new at this so its basically ebay & RCM so far. I got started after I seen an advertisement for the $100 for $100 a few months back and went to the RCM website to check it out and then became addicted.
Your right...there's not much of anything around Halifax,I collect Swiss watches also and usually have to buy elsewhere because I can't find them here. I wish their was a coin show around here.
I'm very green but the folks here are helping me alot. A lot of the conversations I don't even know what their talking about ! lol Thank God for Google ! Take Care,Dave

@Sherwooddavid Lol that sounds very familiar... I am still VERY green myself. just got hooked when those 1912-1914 $5&$10 came out. I thought that the history behind those coins was pretty amazing... and I always wanted to have gold! lol there is one coin shop that seems pretty decent in hfx. (Citadel Coin) though I don't think their location is too convenient. other than that, I am with you, I wish there could be coin shows or even aunctions! I heard there was supposed to be a coin show around here in 2015. who knows. maybe our wish will be granted.

By the way, amazing job on those 20 for 20! that makes me wish I had subscribed to those! lol

Congrats, sherwooddavid, for the set arrangement.

It does looks great.
Do not worry about white rings. Both of them - black and white do their job well, just differently highlight the coin.

@Dominic:
these are the '$20for$20' coins in the "O Canada" RCM box.
No subscription is needed to get them. Most of them you will get for near $25, and only first 3 will be found in the range of $30-$40.
