It looks like it to me.....possibly a S-2. Is there evidence of a repunched "1"?

Hmm...based on the date position, I'm leaning towards Snow-4. The 1/1 is less prominent on that one.

I assume that the damaged '1' is the result of a defective date punch rather than PMD If that is correct then the position of the '1' in relation to the bust point is misleading due to the damage So, can you use the date position as an attribute in this case

If that were a damaged punch, it would be a more interesting variety than the RPD.
My book doesn't list it, and it looks a bit like metal was pushed around on the coin--just a guess.

I would say possibly S-4 as well. It's a neat looking coin.

I'd say there is a chance it's an RPD, when I find sellers with mediocre photos that appear to be RPDs the rest of the coin will also be doubled looking due to slow shutter speed and camera shake, this coin photo doesn't have that, if it's cheap it's worth a chance IMO.

$37 right now, a little much I think, especially given the hit on the 1 in the date.
