beaglebailey Pillar of the Community United States 716 Posts	Posted 04/05/2014 3:02 pm I assume that the damaged '1' is the result of a defective date punch rather than PMD If that is correct then the position of the '1' in relation to the bust point is misleading due to the damage So, can you use the date position as an attribute in this case Report this Post to the Staff
DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 04/05/2014 4:23 pm If that were a damaged punch, it would be a more interesting variety than the RPD. My book doesn't list it, and it looks a bit like metal was pushed around on the coin--just a guess. Report this Post to the Staff

westcoin Pillar of the Community United States 9796 Posts	Posted 04/07/2014 01:31 am I'd say there is a chance it's an RPD, when I find sellers with mediocre photos that appear to be RPDs the rest of the coin will also be doubled looking due to slow shutter speed and camera shake, this coin photo doesn't have that, if it's cheap it's worth a chance IMO.
