OK I got the 1/2 cent today. It has awesome details and believe it or not it "cartwheels" under the light similar to a nice Morgan. I don't think someone can AT a coin and get that effect, am I wrong?

I will be posting some pics later tonight.

Here are the pix. Like I said under the light it cartwheels from the center out similar to a Morgan. I don't see any scratches or anything that would indicate cleaning and AT. I think I did ok on it.

It is a very pretty coin and I think you did well for $180.00. I think that the toning is due to a past dipping (very long ago) and retoning. If a coin is dipped properly, it can retain its cartwheel luster. If it's not completely rinsed, the residue from the dip can cause toning like this. I see the coin as definitely having uncirculated details.

I reiterate that I think you got a very good deal on this coin for $180. Congratulations!
