Does anyone have information about So-Called Dollars? I have an NGC MS 63 1915 Pan Pac that is numbered HK 400. I bought it so many years ago that I have no idea what I paid for it nor what it is worth. I only bought it because I love the 1915 Pan Pac 50c Commemorative. And, this So-Called Dollar was also a Pan Pac. Can anyone give me information, including value? Where is a market for these things?

Rhonda,

I can't give a guess on the value as they aren't listed in my price pages. They are more in the genre of a private issue commemorative. Here's a link to their story. Maybe you can follow the rabbit down the hole from there. Good luck.

Benji,

Do they have a rendition of lady liberty seated on the obverse?

Email sent.

But back to So-Called Dollars, thanks for the link. Still, does anyone know how many were minted? Is the HK 400 common or rare? If I wanted to buy the others for the So-Called Pan Pac to make a set, where would these be found? Are there So-Called Dollar collectors out there (if so, please join in this thread) who specialize in collecting these odd things? Or, would anyone want to buy mine? Do you think I ask enough questions? :)

HI ronda, the value of the HK 400 depends on the grade. In AU it is worth about $50. There is a club for So-Called Dollar Collectors.
