I have 2 1956 proof sets. I was given them by my grandmother in OGP. I broke one out after I saw the half was a type 1 and sent it for grading, I believe it came back Pf67. The other is still in the original packaging with the half also a Type 1. I have pictures some place, when I find them I will post them.

Isn't it the type 2, the crisp and defined eagle, the one that is rare?

Here is my 57 set. I do have the envelope, but for some unknown reason the camera would NOT focus on it.

No 1958's? I collected silver proof sets back to my birth year 1958. I have no photos of the sets but here again is another cameo Franklin.

OK, I had a REALLY busy weekend. So here are my 58 and 59 to catch up. And again, the camera had a heck of a time focusing on the envelopes. Must be the color or something.

And now, a 1960 small date set! The packaging is not the original. Someone placed this set in a 1962 envelope and scratched out the date. LOL Another empty I need to find at a show at some point.

This 1961 Franklin is one of my favorites with a kaleidoscope of rim color that I cannot capture on film.

OK, for starters, here is VACookeys 61 toner Franky. The toning on the obv is killer, just could not catch it it all that well. You can see it better on the rev pics. Obviously, this was another joke grading by a basement slabber. It is NOT pure white. LOL I would give it a 64. The milk spots keep it from going any higher. They are a lot less evident in hand than in these pics. And the cameo is indeed there, so they got that part right.

BTW, can someone please tell me what the heck PQ stands for? I have seen that used for a long time and never knew, or really cared, what it meant.

Whoa! OK, I posted these pics and when I looked, I think I see DDO on Cookeys coin. On Trust and the 96 in the date the most. I just went over the coin with the loupe and scope, and I think it is.
