It's interesting to see which of the these $1M notes the RCMP deem are ok, and which they say potentially violate the Criminal Code.

Also of note, this website indicates the image is of "a young sailor". There is another note that bears the image of Sir John Thompson.

Seems odd that "NOT LEGAL TENDER" on a non-existent denomination would be subject to any concern.

How many times have you seen a spy with a fake Canadian passport in the movies? Some prop maker made something that looked pretty convincing.

And the RCMP is worried about a novelty bill?

CC-Ottawa: You`re right, it`s a sailor.

And here there is a different one that seems to have circulated: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...310948931667

A million dollars I guess is OK, but every knows that if you want to play with the big boys, you have to up your game.

At least it is (or was) legal tender.

1-Million-Dollars

Around enough money to buy half a dozen eggs. :)

I agree but this is the Canadian forum ;-)

And I`m sure a Canadian million dollars is/was worth more than even a hundred trillion Zimbabwean dollars.

Well...I did say that one hundred trillion zimby dollars was **almost** enough to buy a half dozen eggs so....do the math :)

Still the bill does look nice. I picked one up on ebay for I think $ 2 along with the 50 trill and 10 trill note. All three together in my binder looks kinda nice, is a great conversation starter and I can proudly say that I am a multi-trillionare! (who can almost buy 6 eggs)
