Is this 200 dollar coin an official coin like the 2 and 25 dollar coin Donald Duck?
I can't find any information about it.

@Collections yes that is an official coin. They released a limited amount of 1oz Gold coins also. Don't think they were selling them on their site. Not sure how or who could get them. But they are legit

this page has all the new Disney coins. All 6 at once. I'mnot a fan of them they look pretty cheap. But that's just me, not much of a fan of colored coins

These 6 new Disney coins are certainly disappointing. I liked the first two old-school coins, but I am going to pass on these new colorized Disney coins. There are suppose to be 10 coins in the series, maybe the last 2 will be better.

well I have to say, I'm on the fence on those new disney coins... and now that they said that there would also be gold coins for those 6... I like it even less... once again, too many in too short of a time... would have been much better if they had released one/month or something similar... my wallet just can't keep up anymore...

Hi Dominic,I'm in the same boat. Just got the 4 Superman coins and that's it for me for a while. Really like the 2 classic disney coins and not crazy over theses new ones but if they are released in gold and spread out over several months I probably wouldn't be able to resist ! Take Care

I did get this message:
The new release 'Mickey & Friends' caters for many of our international markets, where there is a preference for coins with colour, and also for markets where there is more of an affinity with the contemporary versions of the characters. For those that preferred the retrospective or classic characters, don't worry, as in 2015 we have plans for new releases to build on the interest in the classics.
What you see here is adding a new branch to our Disney portfolio. There are a couple of other 'branches' that will be added in the coming six months as well.
Hope this makes sense.

@sherwooddavid of course if the gold coins are released over a few months I would get them... but from what I am hearing, it looks like they will all be released at the same time. if that's indeed the case, there is no way i'll be able to spend another 4-5 thousands...
