Last week was a terrific week for coinspotting. On Sunday, I opened a roll of pennies and hastily looked through it. Later that night, something told me to go back through the pennies in the till at work. I was shocked to see a 1900 Indian Head penny. Earlier that night I found a 1920 Wheat penny and I was pretty excited about it, but the 1900 blew me away. That register was not touched all day, and no money was added to it, so it definitely came from a roll. On Monday a customer paid with a bunch of dimes. I spotted the silver dime in his hand right away. I was thrilled when he grabbed it and put it on the counter. Turns out I was right, as it was a 1964-D. I was off Tuesday but Wednesday a customer came in paying with a bunch of change. I spotted the Buffalo nickel as it was on top of the pile of change. It is dateless, but it's a buffalo and is not in bad condition otherwise. On top of that, the next day a regular customer who knows that I collect gave me a 1937 nickel. I'm in awe that 4 workdays in a row that I found these 3 coins. This week is as good as the week I found something like 15 silver dimes and the night a customer spent 2 Franklin halves.

No mintmark on the buffalo. I work at a convenience store. It is a small store, and I can only imagine what you would find at, say, a Walmart.
