I've been working for a while on a Red Book set of Braided Hair large cents. Not after a stunning set, just a high grade circulated set. Four to go. Here's one of my better ones. No, those aren't cleaning lines. The coin is PCGS AU-58 with a CAC sticker.

And this is one of those coins that I feel plain embarrassed about posting next to such lovely examples... 1852 large cent, I found it impossible to get the date readable in the pictures.

We all have to start somewhere, and I would be willing to bet that there are some who don't even have a Braided Hair Large Cent. The spotlight does not shine on an individual for an indefinite period of time.I am sure that I am plagiarizing someone.
