Here's another 1818 N-10. I just love the die cracks on these.

Significant die cracks have always appealed to me.
Nice coin.

I think I like the original Matron head a bit more than the modified.

Still waiting 'till I'm able to post!

1817 - I do like this one but I think an upgrade will be coming here eventually as well.

I got some new lighting, so I am excited that I was able to take some sharper images than I have in the past, though I still have a lot to learn.

Picked this beauty up for 18$, one of my absolute favorite buys, the braided hair is such a beautiful design.

I've been working for a while on a Red Book set of Braided Hair large cents.
Not after a stunning set, just a high grade circulated set.
Four to go.

Here's one of my better ones.
No, those aren't cleaning lines.
The coin is PCGS AU-58 with a CAC sticker.

Beautiful coins everyone

Johnny - I'm thinking your 1818 was the final strike for that die set

Moe - awesome 1857 from a very difficult year

And this is one of those coins that I feel plain embarrassed about posting next to such lovely examples...

1852 large cent, I found it impossible to get the date readable in the pictures.

We all have to start somewhere, and I would be willing to bet that there are some who don't even have a Braided Hair Large Cent.

The spotlight does not shine on an individual for an indefinite period of time.

I am sure that I am plagiarizing someone.
