Well, shiny enough for me to notice them

I haven't gotten around to sorting out all my American change. When I got change I didn't spend them and that's why I ended up with plenty to look through.

Looks like you did pretty good on the coins, sorry to say the Golden state mint token is actually just copper, and they did rip you off. You can get them for $15-$30 for a roll of 20

live and learn

Sorry about no silver, too. As any coin roll hunter will tell you there are dry patches that can last months

Edit: spelling

Where are Your from? If You post the quarters that You need I would just send You any that I have. It!0's good luck to help out another collector. You never know what You'll get. A few years ago I got a 1901 Indian cent. Just always look at Your change while You're here.

Well at least I didn't end up with a plastic token (well, it was a toy shop), that would be much worse. It came with a capsule so I thought it was something fancy (if it was, it's not anymore now considering how many times I did the ping test on it and the fact that I once dropped it in a pile of pennies by accident), couldn't check online either since I have no data.
Lesson learned: next time I shouldn't buy stuff when I don't know what I'm paying for. Just feel lucky I didn't make a more expensive mistake.
No silver up here too, everything in rolls are steel, not even a pre-2000 one. I'm just going to go get pennies.

junior e, I'm going to go out in a bit so I can't check which ones I'm missing now. We could do a trade, but I'm moving out before the end of this month and not returning until September. I don't know if there's enough time, especially because I'll be very busy with projects and exams this month.

Not sure when I'll finish sorting them, but I'l post a pic when I do

I suggest you just go to any bank and get all the coins you can carry. Take a wheel barrel with you and fill it up.
For $2 bills, normally you can buy as many as you want at any bank. Halves and any large Silver type dollars are seldom, if ever, a thing you can get at banks today. It does pay to ask though.
You may want to get as many pennies as possible. Rumors are they will stop making them in about 300 years.

Thanks just carl, but I've long since returned from New York and back to looking at Canadian coins. Perhaps next time when I have more time to explore instead of following a tight group schedule

So the US has no intention to get rid of their (not so good) zincolns?
