THANK YOU ALL FOR THESE GREAT SUGGESTIONS!! IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I nEEDED. I'm THINKING OF GIVING HIM ONE TYPE FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND ANOTHER TYPE FOR CHRISTMAS SO HE WILL HAVE A GREAT COLLECTION WHEN HE GROWS UP!

Truly a great choice. Regardless of the value in the distant future, it is the thought that counts. A toy would get lost or broaken. And all kids hate clothing. Most other hobby types come and go like stamps. But I see no end to proof or uncirculated sets from the Mint. The greatest value is what they remember about you in the distant future and a gift that they will keep will help in that field. It is what I remember about my Dad. All the special coins he broght home for me.
