Hello!
Are these the claw errors I have heard before? If so, are they worth much over face value? Thanks!
(PS. I have 2 coins to show!)

Die chips. Common occurrence on all coins.

The Alaska claw "errors" were heavily hyped by some ebay sellers when the coin was issued but hype does not equate to value, especially when that hype involves an inherent weakness in the die design. Arizona quarters were also being sold around the same time as "extra leaf errors" due to similar die chipping.

Personally, I think it is harder to find Alaska quarters WITHOUT the die chips on the claws....

Not a scientific study to be sure, but going through several rolls of quarters, I had 4 Alaska quarters. Only one did NOT have any die chips in the claws.... I know they make a big deal about these chips on ebay, but I still think ones WITHOUT chips are harder to find.
