Before printing the complete coins pictures I wanted to display two different coins to see if they even have a chance for double ear and if any of them do, I will display all. This way I will not make a big deal out of it and save space for CCF.

I just came across this 1994 penny with a very similar ear. Maybe all the comments about it being caused by a hit are wrong.

Agree, just a hit mark. Common to being hit in that area because it is a high spot on coin.
