I was just going through a stack of 1966 2 cents and I noticed this on two different 2 cents.
Note the stretched SD and the enlarged claw, Do you think this could be the start of the failure that resulted in the no SD 1966 2 Cents.

you have good eyes to spot that I need a loop to read the dates
I must say I have not noticed that before I will have a look at what I have
some one will have the answer is you photo with a phone

I was using a hoop sorting the coins into mints.
The photo is taken with a Samsung S5 through a 10x hoop.

I have seen it before, found this piccie on my PC, so I assume it's my coin. Don't know how rare or common it is though.

I have one of this 2 Cents but in 1981. Where no SD found on that year also as reported.

Is there possiblity as what BananaBreadNiWalnots thought? [list]
