VG10, possible old cleaning, questionable authenticity.

with VG-10, although it looks fishy to me. The color seems questionable...

VG10 - looks like some funky dings/divots - reverse top rim? I agree too that the color looks wonky too; the fields on the obverse just have something going there I don't like.

Hi Connor. I just realized this was the one I sold you. Your pics make it look quite a bit different than I remember, but all of the markers are there now that I think about it. I hope you dont mind, but I wanted to post my original pics of the coin since some were questioning authenticity and originality....and since you purchased the coin from me. The coin is definitely authentic and fully original imho, and has full wheat lines on the reverse. I also think the color is quite a bit darker than the other pics show, unless something has changed since I sold it.

Thanks Johnny! I'll amend my comments to F12. This is a great example of lighting and how much it can change a coin. Conner, I am not at all saying your pictures stink either! :)

John...wow...you are right. I had forgotten where I had purchased that coin. It must have been a couple years ago now. Your pictures look much better. Photography has never been my thing. Your pictures are spot on of what the coin looks like in hand. I guess I just need to quit taking pics with the direct light and see how that turns out. I had the same problem with the 09 s I have posted here.
rking007....you can say it....I realize my pics stink most of the time! No hard feelings here.

Definitely looks better. I would turn the brightness or highlights down a bit. I also remember it being a bit more even in tone, but could be wrong about that.
