Hi see the images show a double mint'DD'1987 Lincoln Cent. I can't see any other doubling on the coin. Interested how this might occur? thanks ErikP

I suspect zinc rot. Lets see what the experts say.

Fuzzy, zinc rot? I've another 1 cent 1997 that has holes that look like started from inside out. There are lumpy Cuds ie by Lincolns mouth. So this might be zinc rot also? Thanks ErikP
