Quote: Those holos come off when auction companies put their stickers on and people attempt to remove the auction company stickers. Quite common. If the coin is nice in hand, go for it.
NGC used to place the stickers on the outside of the slabs. Many auction houses and dealers would put their stickers on the back over the sticker. When they would do this, you would peel the NGC sticker off with the additional sticker.
Shouldn't be a problem unless you are buying the slab and not the coin. Happens all the time with the TPG stickers. If you resell in the future you have the barcode, also, most collectors know of this problem and will be buying your coin, not the slab.
