I just recently gave this guy an acetone bath...and wowzers! The luster on this coin is very intense given its such a dark brown crusty Lincoln to begin with. Sorry if the pics have too much glare, the luster just takes over the coin under a direct light source.

Nice coin. The obverse could go MS but the wheat lines say AU+ so I'll go with AU58.

thanks for the opinions. I really thought this one would make MS with full on bold cartwheels....I just don't see that type of luster on AU coins, but obviously the forum sees otherwise, which is fine. Always appreciate the input.

Late to the game but I agree with 55/58. Got any before pics so we can see the improvement?

AU coins have cartwheel luster (normally). On your coin, look at the wheat lines (they show rub easily) and the devices have a lot of hits indicating some circulation. Also, the rims are also marred a bit which can help in the determination.
