johnny54321 Rest in Peace United States 4849 Posts	Posted 07/20/2014 9:44 pm I just recently gave this guy an acetone bath...and wowzers! The luster on this coin is very intense given its such a dark brown crusty Lincoln to begin with. Sorry if the pics have too much glare, the luster just takes over the coin under a direct light source. Report this Post to the Staff

I really thought this one would make MS with full on bold cartwheels....I just don't see that type of luster on AU coins, but obviously the forum sees otherwise, which is fine. On your coin, look at the wheat lines (they show rub easily) and the devices have a lot of hits indicating some circulation. Also, the rims are also marred a bit which can help in the determination.
