ace, sorry for the very late answer. I have been away.
It is between 2.46 and 2.47. To weigh it I had to remove it from the flip obviously. When I did, I realized that there is a clamshell separation under the word Liberty. This separation is *incredibly* thin. It looks not much thicker than heavy duty aluminum foil, and definitely not as thick as a beer can. I am not sure the vendor was aware of the clamshell, just the delamination since I am 99% sure it has been in that flip long before he got it. I'm very pleased you asked for the weight which led to this discovery. Now perhaps you can tell me why you asked for the weight. I am mostly new to errors having just caught the bug this year. I'm not new to general coin collecting, but am certainty not an expert in any way. I would say my knowledge is intermediate regarding general coin collecting (US mostly, 20th century mostly).
