I must admit that I quite like the 2015 Kisatchie National Forest Quarter design.

I'll have to agree that the Saratoga design is a disappointment, only one that I didn't like.

When these are reverse proofed next year, Saratoga will probably improve 100% as would Bombay Hook (because it's a retread of the Everglades design). The other three not so much and the RPs are starting to feel tired if not yet outright gimmicky. It will drive the album makers batty and the completists nuts...

The Parkway is a joke and just a generic fantasy road with tunnels. It shows a lack of ever seeing it. There is no sky that you will see, it is either giant pines that haven't fallen down the mountain, lots of rocks overhead ready to fall on you, the beware falling rocks signs and the warning signs for trucks of the grade. Also you have a few burns and little side places with railings. This looks more like something out of the Disney movie Cars rather than the partway itself. WOW! they threw in a flower in the foreground. To bad they wont be in the tunnels, and there are no two tunnels that close.

This design in no way instills the fear and beauty and fear that traveling it gives. They should have just used Grandfather Mountain if they wanted to do some generic road or generic mountain. At least Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock have views even if they are just off the parkway on Blowing Rock Highway.

no "falling rocks" signs or side-rails makes the parkway quarter just a farce!

I don't care how "pretty" the art looks, if it depicts the wrong thing then it depicts the wrong thing, and this just looks like it would if they had used Bozo the clown for the Kennedy half and randomly claimed it was a picture of JFK.
