They don't roll away when you stand them on edge.

Here are a few South African coins that I think belong here.
1. Strachan & Co. coins of 1874-1932

2. Kaal Pond or Kaalpond, 1900. Yes, this is the finished coin.

3. Veld Pond, 1902

It is not uninspired. It inspires horror. Pure horror.

Dagaz, that coin is awful, but the teeth remind me of another coin. Maybe we should include this one too.

@ triggersmob

Ugg, I can see the coin may have had some promise, but they seem to have gone with the wrong artist on this one. Those teeth are actually kind of creepy.

I could see Pope Benedict XVI becoming a popular Halloween costume.

Holy moly, that Kate and William is almost as bad as that Canadian one of Charles and Dianna from the 80s. Here's the thread...

A "1" Made of Sharpie would do the trick for an obverse.

Most of the current day US coinage (in reference to business strikes primarily) is boring but the parks quarters series and some others.

Nothing beats the UK's pence coins that make up a shield. That's just cool.
