My best boxes were always my first of each denomination (except for my monster half box)

Congrats on the FE.

I have found a few Indian Head cents but not many.

I know sometimes major coin shows drop coins like this in circulation to promote the shows. Any chance one of the recent FUN shows may have put this in circulation?

Congrats on the FE! They only come around once in a great while, I know that I dump dateless buffs and common Indians from time to time, but an FE I'm sure I'd hold on to.

That's incredible!! Some member found a Shield nickel, or was given one by a waitress. Equally insane. Great find. 11 keepers is good for a box. I would keep the '43 Canadian too since its older. Newer ones I just toss back since I' m in a border state and they're so common.

Incredible find! Finding a flying eagle in your first box is about as likely as winning the mega jackpot the first time you play the lottery. Across our entire forum, I think we've all found maybe 5-10. In my book, anything before 1935 is a noteworthy find. I've never had the luck of finding an Indian Head in a box, and I would probably hit the roof if I found your coin!

I'll concur that we need some up-close shots! Your coin looks like it's in remarkably good shape--maybe F-VF?

I'm new to CRH myself & in 2 boxes I've only managed to snag (nearly) a half roll of wheaties (23 to be exact) although I still have 8/100 rolls left to check. Wicked find! Also, play the lottery immediately while your on a "roll". (Get it? roll, LOL)
