Topic created to discuss buying the new Superman coins from Canada Post on Tuesday, September 2.

Who will be in line outside their local Canada Post outlet on Tuesday morning?

What time will CP start selling?

What time does will the new coins come online at canadapost.ca?

What are the limits?

Ill answer your questions in order,
I will at 9 when my CP opens.
I am not sure if its when it opens or 12_00 or 1_00
I am not sure they will have them online, as far as the call center told me
I heard 1 coin for the gold

1 limit per postal outlet. Unless you are the first one there, no chance of getting one.

Even if you are first in line, someone may already pre-order. Like me. I already gave my money to the postal outlet and they will order for me. If they can't get it for me, they will refund me. So the best thing is : don't wait until Tuesday - Order this weekend.

Also,I phoned Canada Post and they said no phone call or online ordering. Only Drop Shipping at Post Offices on Sept. 2.

Does someone plan to buy more than 1, if actually even 1 not needed? I more refer to spending an effort, time, money...

They are in the brochures sent to Post Office outlets with ordering information for the coins. They are sent several weeks before the release date of the coins. They are intended only for P.O. use only, not for public viewing.

Ok, so how I'm supposing to indicate to the guy that I want to order something that I can't see. I guess it only works with people that use to buy at a particular Post Office so the manager inform you in advance.

Some people who operate the post office outlets are coin collectors too and they leak out information into forums like this one and RFD. Or they are family members of owners of postal outlets. Once this information is out, collectors go to post offices and order from the managers. It is quite simple, talk to them and they will show you the picture of the coins.

The key is to follow what is going on in this forum and other coin collecting forums. If you wait for the mailings from the Mint or Post office it would be too late.

That's very correct.
Specially could help the fact, that at least on the these both forums, people like to share whatever the know in "real time", and not hide the info.

I just go there ask for next months catalogue, and since they know me already, they gladly show it to me.

Can someone tell me if any of these have already been sold online? I called Canadian Mint and they told me these have already sold out. I was under the impression they may be available on Tuesday online, or is that only online?

Thanks

The same like RAM / Perth Mint (i think they have same practice) like any company , RCM has multy-tiers customer definitions.

This coin was offered by Representatives to their Master Club members, and after it appears on-line , probably in "Awaiting stock" status for rest of Master Club members.
And later, for all the people.
So, even the coins became visible onsite as "Awaiting Stock", technically - yes, they were available online for the Master Club members. But this time I am not sure about Superman gold coin, it seems to be was sold out during pre-release.
