@arianzo nearly. Mint sent me a notice about expiration date of MC, and I bought a glass frog, then my membership extended to next year

My rep just shared a wonderful offer.
He is able to secure up to 10 50 for 50 coins for me, at regular price...
Thanks, but I don't think I will take him up on that.

Funny, I got a similar call and email last week as well, but no free coin. I'm looking forward to the extra 36 hour notice and increased purchase quantity, though I doubt I'll be taking much advantage of the offer.
Ironically, I am beginning to realize that I have overspent in the past few years and have started to to sell off some excess NCLT items. I'm also curbing my impulse purchases dramatically, opting to support the local coin dealers directly.
Have been feeling a little fatigued and overwhelmed with the incredible number of products being minted.
Lo and behold this guardian angel from the Mint swoops down to try and save me from myself and encourage me to increase my spending habits.
The suits at the circle M ranch must be getting nervous if they're commissioning extra Reps to help increase sales.

I don't understand why the RCM bothers with reps, they have to pay commission. I don't need a personal rep, to help spend my money. I buy when I can afford it and what I like. I'm not blind, needing someone else's opinion. Thing is if I want a coin, rep or no rep I will buy it. When I'm not interested I'm not interest, or can't afford it. I say fire the reps and lower the prices and sales will happen.

I have to admit I like my mint rep ... He is very aware of my spending habits and I have never missed a coin I wanted and never bothered about a coin I didn't. My spending is around 3 to 4 grand a year and I do not feel that is to excessive ( my better half disagrees :-) I do enjoy my hobby and I'm happy if my rep can get me the coins .....or granny bate ...... I want at mint prices .

I think rep. exist mainly for the "flippers", who need to get a big quantity of hot coins. For the 95% of the coins, it doesn't make any difference.

I got a paper(!) mail today from RCM offering me Personal Representative (yes, in bold). So I wonder if I should get one...

I received a paper letter in the mail as well offering me an account manager. Choice of a free coin from 7 different subscriptions. Not interested in any subscriptions. Everytime I tried calling line was busy each time. I'm thinking ordering from the web is easier. If anyone is working with Chantal would appreciate any feedback.

@ discovery this is my rep. Be careful I was offered the free coin. It wasn't made clear the coin was contingent on signing up for the entire subscription. I chose the sacred teachings and later it became a mess. I didn't underestand that I needed to buy the other coins in the sub to get the free one. Then there was a computer glitch. I was sent the entire sub at once. Then some other coins I had ordered back in summer were also sent. This resulted in my credit card being maxed for 7 weeks. I had the post office return to sender the sacred teachings. I could tell from the tracking no, which it was. So I never did get the free coin!! I know others that were giving a free silver proof dollar when signing with a rep.
Then I ordered my 3 sets of wait for me Daddy Toonie over the website. Three days later I get a call from Chantal saying " she had cancelled my order and placed it through her account. I asked if could get extras she was able to get a me one extra for a total of 4 sets. I was told even these orders needed to be placed through her.
She was able to get me a total of 4 2015 proof wolf coins, limit was two. She was also able to secure me the big horn sheep and towering forests coins. Since the teaching sub mistake, had maxed my credit card, the mint had cancelled my order for the $100 $200 coins because my card was maxed. So I was finally able to get them, once the charges were reversed.
I also expressed interest in the glow maple coin and frational set. I wanted to be alerted to when they were close to sell out. Then I'd make my final decision whether or not to get the coins. Well last week both showed up. Chantal was very good to promptly generate return postage label for each. Problem is I don't have a printer and now I need to bother someone to print off the label for me, and then drop the coins at the post office across town. I don't drive due to eye sight issues and a lack of quick reflexes to respond to something sudden. I decided in my teens, it was safer for all concerned, not to drive! So again my credit card is maxed. Plus I'm supposed to go to edm nov.26 and Dec.1 for dr. Exams in prep for my upcoming hip replacement between now and January. These trips typically cost $400-$500 ea. it's really a pain being without a useable credit card to book hotel and shuttle buses. I'm wait for a late tax refund of a sizeable amount. Which would fix the credit card issue, I've been waiting since July when I filed. The thing is I try and only buy a max of 2 coins monthly. So having them all pile up like this isn't good for managing finances. What I've done is made it quite clear to cancel all outstanding orders, including coins I was thinking about. This will solve anymore coins showing up for me to return. It's messed up my auto payments, because my card is maxed they cannot be processed. Chantal's strategy was to reserve coins I was just slightly considering. So they don't sell out, this has not worked well for my situation!! She's very quick to respond to emails and is very pleasant.
Ordering online I could cancel my order, if I needed without someone's income being affected. I also had control over when I placed my orders. Most times I'd wait until a coin is 90% sold. This have me time to look elsewhere for a better price! So this has been my experience. You know your spending habits and what works best for you. I find it easier and more control ordering via the web. I had requested ordering over 5 $25 flag coins. The answer was I can have 3 for now. Yet another forum member his rep is offering him 10 $25 flag coins. I hope this helps you make your decision. When you get enough posts send me a message.

Thanks for your feedback pocket change 50. Your comments confirm my reservations in consenting to a personal rep. Will keep doing what I'm doing. When you want it done right, do it yourself! I find customer service in general is declining. Doesn't sound like rep listened to what customer wants. Only to make money. Stressful position to force you into. I agree with you. I like to be in control and manage my own account as I see fit. Wishing you a speedy recovery on your hip surgery.

@arianzo Thanks for your comment. I'm convinced I'm better without personal rep. I like to be in control!

I refused my offer for the personal rep - the conditions were too restrictive.
